MOVE! 2026
Jane performed with the Star Dance Company in Move! Dance for the World of Entertainment under the direction of Tiffany van der Merwe in the spring of 2026. She was cast in contemporary, lyrical, theater jazz, and jazz funk pieces, and served as line captain for several faculty members!

PEP DANCERS
Currently, Jane is the co-student director of the OCU Pep Dancers, a student-led organization that performs at basketball games and other campus-wide events. She has been a member of Pep since freshman year and loves the opportunity to choreograph and perform hip hop and jazz-funk routines. This collaborative, energetic environment is such a fun way to both lead and learn alongside her peers!
OCUNYC
Jane packed her bags and spent spring break in New York City, participating in an OCU-alumni led workshop. Throughout the week, she spent time learning from current and past Broadway stars, casting directors, choreographers, and other creatives. This experience broadened her perspective of the entertainment industry, leaving her inspired, motivated, and excited to continue her pursuit of this career!

HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR
Jane had a blast performing in OCU’s Christmas show, Holiday Spectacular! The experience allowed her to showcase her versatility as a dancer, performing in a range of styles such as ballet, hip hop, and jive. She embraced character-driven roles as both a hip hop–dancing elf and a magical sprite, bringing energy and personality to each performance!
HALLUCINATE
One of Jane’s favorite performance opportunities at OCU was dancing in the 2025 Student Choreography Show in Sidney Hoyt’s piece entitled Hallucinate. She had an amazing experience as the line captain and featured dancer, enjoying the collaboration and creativity between students, choreographers, and directors!

DANCE UNLIMITED
As an alumni of the studio, Jane now teaches classes at Dance Unlimited and assists with the Vibe Dance Co competition team. Teaching is one of her biggest passions, and she loves the opportunity to give back to some of the students and teachers that have grown to be a second family. She is so grateful for the way DU shaped her as a dancer (and human!) and hopes to provide her current students with that same support, growth, and sense of community.
